Sigma 28mm lens

This seems like a really good lens which I would like to own. I feel my kit is currently short on a quality wide angle a 85m lens and a zoom lens. I have also worked with it recently thanks to the university buying one. This meant i got to try this lens out with the canon 5d mk 2 which the univeristy has also bought. I found this very a very good lens and especially when shooting on the canon 5d mk 2 which I have been wanting to shoot on for some time now. The issue I face in shooting on my canon 60d is that it has a 1.6 crop factor which means a 28mm lens would have to be multiplied by 1.6 so the actual focal length of the lens would be closer to 45mm which is slightly frustrating when trying to get the focal length correct.
