Gorilla grain download

This is a link to a download of gorilla grain. As a student it would be too expensive to buy but It is something that I think people may find useful if like me they want to add grain effects to their digital footage. The problem, if it can be considered a problem with is that it is very clean for the most part. The only time it is not clean is when there is noise in the frame noise unlike grain looks ugly as it speckles with colours which ruins a shot, hence why I have studied the best ISO settings to use as most of the noise issues occur through ISO that aren’t native to the camera or at high ISO levels. When this isn’t an issue the footage is very clean and sometimes people don’t want that. People’s eyes are often used to the grain levels in film which although can be very subtle are nonetheless a unique aspect of film. However this can be replicated through digital through software like gorilla grain that has many grain effects from light, to, heavy to add more of a film look to digital footage. This is something that have been looking a lot at of late, for my silent film as I want to replicate the heavy grain effect we would expect from a silent movie. Luckily this software has this as well as film burns which would look great for a silent film. I have been playing about with the software a bit on old footage and adding colour effects to give a soft look to the characters as well as playing with old and vintage film looks to try and create a silent film look and I think I have found it with the sepia effect on magic bulllets colour looks, a software program that offers many custom looks that can be edited to large degree to attain unique looks. I will eventually post some of my edits on youtube so  people can see the look I am going for mainly my editor who I hope will replicate these type of effects when he edits it.
