Shoulder rig

This is a shoulder mount I bought. The main reason for buying it was to shoot the recent project I have been working on. Obviously I wanted to be able to shoot more freely without shooting everything on a tripod. One of the main reasons I wanted to buy the shoulder mount was so I could get closer in on the actors with a wide angle lens and shoot on angles like they shoot in the film “The Third Man” I think that being able to get in close and match the movements of the characters especially when, as we have planned to shoot a scene in which the lead character trashed the room we want to be able to move with him around the room. One of the main draws I had to this particular shoulder rig was that it includes a matt box and follow focus which allows for easier focus pulling which I think will be very important when trying to achieve smooth focusing on what I will imagine will be a hectic shoot as we are only shooting for 2 days.
