The above link is to some ways of shooting portrait photography
using lighting examples. One of the main things I found interesting in these
examples is the numerous ways you can position a light and then direct the
light back onto the subject by bouncing lights of things and using reflectors.
Another thing I found very interesting was how you can use an ordinary
household light and a sheet to create soft looking light. This is just one example
of set ups I’ve been looking at of late and it’s been inspiring several ideas
not just for film but also ideas for photography especially seeing as we have
been looking at doing some portrait photography to raise money for the degree
show.
